{"id":981,"date":"2015-12-08T20:43:49","date_gmt":"2015-12-08T11:43:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.amano.mech.waseda.ac.jp\/wp_20151125\/?page_id=981"},"modified":"2025-11-25T17:24:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T08:24:12","slug":"ionl","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.amano.mech.waseda.ac.jp\/hp\/en\/research-projects\/ionl\/","title":{"rendered":"IONL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><big>Industrial Open-Network Laboratory (IONL)<\/big><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Industrial Open-Network Laboratory (IONL) conducts research on industrial digital communications networks, such as FOUNDATION\u2122 Fieldbus, HART, FDI, FDT technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fieldbus is a bidirectional digital communication standard intended to replace the conventional industry standard analog signal communication of 4\u201320 mA between field devices. &nbsp;The FOUNDATION\u2122&nbsp;Fieldbus and HART communication protocol with FDI(Field Device Integration) technology are developed and maintained by the <a href=\"https:\/\/fieldcommgroup.org\">FieldComm Group<\/a>. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, one section; \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FCG section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>is offering various seminars in conjunction with a not-for-profit organization, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldcommgroup.org\/ja\">FieldComm Group Japan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><big>Technical Seminars<\/big><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><big>Field Communication Technical Seminar<\/big><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Venue:&nbsp;<br>Research Institute for Science and Engineering<br>2nd floor meeting room, Build 41-3 Red Brick Tower, Kikui Campus (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FCG Technical Seminar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Organized by: IONL-FCG<br>Joint sponsors: Japan FieldComm Group, WISE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waseda University F-ROM Workshop Reporting Session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan FieldComm Group introduced F-ROM (remote operation monitoring infrastructure) equipment to an experimental facility of Industrial Open-Network Laboratory (IONL) at the Waseda Research Institute for Science and Engineering. Joint workshops with members of the FieldComm Group End User Committee (EUC-J) and IONL are scheduled to proliferate and evaluate F-ROM technology. Workshop guests included the media, EUC-J committee members, and F-ROM equipment sponsors.
